Yann Cressot
Principal Consultant, Europe and Middle East & North Africa
I have over 20 years of experience in industrial engineering, maintenance, and project management with expertise in port operations.
I began my career at Dresser-Rand within Siemens Group, where I managed complex international engineering projects for major clients such as Equinor (formerly Statoil), Shell, and BP. I developed skills in planning, reliability, and technical team coordination.
I later joined Générale de Manutention Portuaire (GMP, Port of Le Havre), where I progressed from Deputy Technical Director to Maintenance Director, and then Director of Engineering & Projects. Leading a 115-person team, I oversaw the maintenance of critical equipment, including ship-to-shore cranes and straddle carriers, managed operating and capital expenditure (OPEX/CAPEX) budgets, implemented computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and reliability indicators, and led major modernization projects.
From 2023 to 2025, I managed energy-efficiency department at the French engineering consulting firm DIMOé, and delivered complex industrial projects before joining Groupe Hospitalier du Havre to lead Maintenance & Energy services.
