He is recognized for his ability to innovate and negotiate complex commercial situations under intense scrutiny, and to do so on behalf of clients and stakeholders in the public and private sectors.

Prior to CPCS, Ian held senior advisory roles in various sectors including transport and transit, nuclear, emergency services, security, and critical national infrastructure.
