Vivek is a systems engineer by training and leads the company’s Analytics practice.
Over the last ten years, Vivek has developed analytical frameworks, models and tools to advise organizations on how to approach investment, management and operations decisions in their infrastructure programs. Using big data, he led two nation-wide studies in the U.S. and Canada to pinpoint the locations of the most problematic traffic bottlenecks.
Vivek has also delivered policy and operations guidance under the aegis of the National Academy of Sciences’ Transportation Research Board such as Using New Data Sources to address Urban Freight Challenges and Managing Transportation Research Programs.
He is currently leading a number of advanced technology integration efforts, including technology maturity assessments, port technology, automation programs and digital ledgers for supply chain operations. Prior to CPCS, Vivek led a number of research initiatives at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
