Construction of the country’s first solar-powered and open-access warehouse expected to be completed in 331 days.

Liberia’s inland storage facility or LISF, a flagship infrastructure project CPCS developed on behalf of InfraCo Africa, is being built by Liberian contractor BMC Group. The LISF is expected to be operational in 2022.

InfraCo Africa CEO Gilles Vaes says “the LISF will provide businesses of all sizes access to much-needed storage and sophisticated warehouse management systems, enabling them to drive efficiencies and grow their businesses. By facilitating trade, the LISF will promote wider economic development as Liberia seeks to recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

“The facility will be an important lever for these businesses in terms of growth and relying on a more robust supply chain,” adds Amit Modi, Managing Director of CPCS’s Infrastructure Development advisory unit.
