Economic Value of Regional Strategies to Improve Transportation

CPCS, as part of a team, estimated the economic value of certain regional transportation strategies. CPCS performed a high-level study to quantify the benefits for regional bus commuters of implementing managed lanes (e.g., HOV, HOT lanes) across the freeway network in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA); and undertook a benefit–cost analysis of a potential regional shift to cycling from other travel modes in the GTHA.
