Minneapolis Regional Truck Highway Corridor Study

Metropolitan Council (Twin Cities)

CPCS led the development of a network of regionally important truck freight corridors in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area. CPCS used an innovative approach combining business establishment data, truck GPS data, truck counts, and other data sources to identify regionally important freight land-use clusters and freight facilities, develop a methodology for defining a hierarchy of truck freight corridors, and target the most critical corridors for detailed performance analysis.
