Public Health Agency of Canada Needs Assessment for Emergency Preparedness

Carried out an assessment of emergency preparedness (EP) on behalf of the various PHAC groups expected to provide or support emergency services for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and made recommendations to ensure that these services meet public health needs of Canadians and other visitors. CPCS reviewed and analyzed training plans for seven PHAC groups responsible for emergency preparedness and response in areas such as quarantine, field epidemiology, and mobile microbiology labs.
