Transaction Advisory Services to the National Mining Infrastructure Development Agency (ANAIM) for the development of Kamsar Port

CPCS was selected as Transaction Advisor to the Government of Guinea (GoG) for the negotiations on the development and concession of Kamsar Port Infrastructures under a BOT scheme. The private developer was Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC).
CPCS advised the GoG on aspects related to (i) mineral terminal, (ii) commercial terminal and (iii) potential oil and gas terminal.
CPCS provided technical, financial and legal advisory services to support the Government in Guinea in its negotiation with the private developer of the project. CPCS’s objective was to preserve the financial and socio-economic of the State during the negotiations.
In addition to its work on Kamsar terminal, CPCS was also asked by the World Bank to advise the Government of Guinea for technical and financial negotiations with three international mining companies (Abu Dhabi, Russia and American) for the use of public infrastructures on the North-West Corridor (Rail & Port) currently under concession. These infrastructure include the 135km railway between Sangarédi and Kamsar and the Port of Kamsar.
