Funsho’s background is in business development, financial advisory and audit.
Funsho’s work at CPCS focuses on providing advisory services to governments and private sector players in West Africa. He has worked on delivering feasibility studies for rail lines, port infrastructure, logistics and warehousing facilities as well as waste management initiatives across Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia and Guinea Bissau. Recently, he has been working with the Government of Cabo Verde on the negotiation and transaction process for the privatization of a national power utility company.
Prior to joining CPCS, he worked with General Electric (GE) in developing the landmark narrow-gauge rail concession project in Nigeria. He also served as commercial finance manager and undertook the valuation and financial analysis for a multi-modal manufacturing hub built in Calabar, Nigeria. Finally, he worked as an internal auditor with GE and as an external auditor with Price Waterhouse Coopers.
He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA).
