In over 30 years in the infrastructure sector, I’ve been providing expertise in areas such as policy development, asset management policy and modelling, business case development, financial analysis and stakeholder management.

One of the things I enjoy most is enhancing asset data and developing better analytical tools to forecast current and future needs in organizations that have complex infrastructure portfolios to make their capital spending more effective.

Earlier in my career, I worked in the private sector as a senior project manager for a passenger transportation consultancy. Most of my career has been with the Ontario government, including the last 10 years in executive positions in infrastructure policy and delivery areas.

As Assistant Deputy Minister for Ontario’s Ministry of Infrastructure, I provided evidence-based advice to government on its infrastructure needs across all sectors that helped guide spending decisions. I was also responsible for the provincial oversight of Infrastructure Ontario, the agency responsible for delivering most large projects for the province, and worked with the agency to expand its project delivery options.
