Kristen oversees international infrastructure projects financed by US aid. She’s an economist with 15+ years of consulting experience with public and private clients in various sectors.  

Her specializations include:

  • Assessing port performance and transport corridor logistics
  • Analyzing transport and trade facilitation issues
  • Conducting economic analysis of legal and policy matters
  • Evaluating the economic impact of investments and reforms

In her project portfolio:

  • Port pre-feasibility study in Vietnam
  • Assessments of the Nacala, Beira, Dar es Salaam and Central transport corridors in Sub-Saharan Africa
  • Evaluation of port investments in Benin and Cabo Verde
  • Trade corridor assessment in Moldova
  • Port authority regulatory strengthening project in Haiti

Before joining CPCS, Kristen led the Logistics Practice at Nathan Associates, where she focused on improving trade and transport networks in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. Earlier in her career, she conducted analyses for competition policy and antitrust issues. Kristen also spent a year working in Chennai, India.
