I help governments and infrastructure clients make better investment and planning decisions through data-driven insights.

I lead analytical work across energy, transportation, and infrastructure projects, focusing on forecasting, scenario modelling, and strategy development. I turn complex data into clear, decision-ready insights that support capital planning and long-term system transformation.

Before joining CPCS, I worked at Deloitte in the Sustainability and Climate Change practice, where I led modelling and analytics workstreams for government and utility clients. I supported projects on energy system planning, electric vehicle adoption, energy procurement strategies, and national climate initiatives. Earlier in my career, I worked at the Center of Transportation Studies at the University of British Columbia, developing predictive models and optimizing operational performance in transportation sector.

I speak English and Persian, with working proficiency in German.

Career highlights:

  • Led energy system modelling and forecasting to support net-zero strategies and infrastructure planning across Canada.

  • Supported major utilities and governments on energy procurement, demand forecasting, and investment planning.

  • Contributed to national-level initiatives, including Transport Canada’s aviation and marine decarbonization strategies.
