Oumar is a Dakar-based energy specialist and engineer advising clients on infrastructure and private sector participation in Francophone Africa.
Oumar has 8 years of professional experience, worked in France and Senegal, and speaks French and English.
Prior to joining CPCS, he worked as a consultant at A&A Strategy where he advised the government of Senegal on strategic planning, transactions due diligence and public-private partnerships frameworks. Before that, Oumar worked for Électricité de France as a Key Account Manager focused on industrial and tertiary client portfolios. He also worked at Bouygues Energies & Services on a thermal power plant construction project with a focus on Africa, the Caribbeans and Pacific Asia.
