I help plan for and develop safe, efficient, resilient, and inclusive multimodal freight systems.

My expertise is in multimodal freight strategic planning, research, and policy analysis. I’m a skilled project manager and communicator.

Before joining CPCS, I worked at the Volpe Center of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) as a Community Planner for over 17 years. In that role, I supported a range of Federal government agency clients to manage multimodal freight transportation programs and initiatives.

Key projects I’ve contributed to:

  • Led a training program for the U.S. DOT Secretary’s Office to support the modernization of ports located in developing markets and improvement of multimodal connectivity
  • Led the Federal Highway Administration’s Freight Professional Capacity Building Program to support freight practitioners in gaining required skills and knowledge for their role

  • Assisted in establishing the U.S. DOT Port Performance Freight Statistics Program, a required program under the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act (2015)

  • Created and launched the Volpe Communities of Practice Program to support staff in improved collaboration on topics of strategic importance, including freight
