Senior Consultant, Infrastructure Analytics

Team member photo

I bring clarity to infrastructure planning and policymaking through analytics and data-driven research.

Prior to joining CPCS, I was a consultant for the World Bank focusing on transport and digital sectors, as well as African regional and global integration.

I completed my PhD on Africa’s economic transformation at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. My dissertation contains important studies on the continent’s regional and global integration and the role of infrastructure for trade and structural transformation. My two papers on Africa’s infrastructure, Mapping Africa’s Infrastructure Potential with Geospatial Big Data and Causal ML, and Optimal Investments in Africa’s Road Network, have inspired more applied research for the World Bank, such as characterizing optimal road network Investments in Central Africa, assessing road network misallocation in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, and building a global infrastructure database.

Before pursuing my PhD, I was a Senior Economist at the Ugandan Ministry of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development where I developed macroeconomic models, strengthened local capacities, and led digital transformation initiatives.
