Ahmad El-Arab
Consultant
I support various mandates across the globe in transport, energy, infrastructure, and major projects. I’m interested in development, environmental, structural, and energy economics.
While completing a master’s degree at the University of Toronto, I worked as a Teaching Assistant, where I presented seminars on Environmental Economics and Public Policy. My research paper is about the elasticity of substitution between gasoline and ethanol.
It’s through my work as an analyst in the telecommunications industry that I developed an interest in infrastructure development. I’m eager to continue working on infrastructure projects that make a positive impact in developing countries.
I have experience in quantitative research, including econometrics and structural modelling, and in qualitative research through fieldwork in Brazil.
