I help clients navigate the complexities of decision-making to realize their multimodal transportation visions for more just, equitable and sustainable cities, and communities.
My background is in multimodal transportation planning, and I specialize in strategy and policy development, including:
- Strategic cases for capital investments and major policy change
- Decision making and governance frameworks to help organizations function more efficiently and deliver stronger capital programs
- Facilitation and engagement with staff, executive leaders, and partners
- Research and writing for academic journals and industry white papers
Before joining CPCS, I worked for 10 years as a transportation consultant in Los Angeles. Before that, I was a proposal and marketing manager for professional services firms in Southern California.
Career highlights:
- For California, developed a business case for the Bay Area Fare Coordination and Integration Study (FCIS) for the Metropolitan Transportation Commission which helped secure funding for regional fare integration initiatives
- Also for California, facilitated the Long Beach Airport Organizational Assessment and Strategic Plan to help the airport develop a set of reasonable priorities for the near-term and build stronger work culture
- Developed a Definition of Transportation Demand Management and Transportation Systems Management & Operations System Completeness for Oregon Metro to support their Regional Mobility Policy Update which redefined mobility concepts and measures
- Serving as Principal Investigator for research on health impacts of public transportation for the National Academies of Sciences/Transportation Research Board.
