Malithi Fernando
Principal Consultant, Canada
I help clients make pragmatic infrastructure, policy, and governance decisions that contribute to more equitable, sustainable, and resilient transportation systems.
I’ve led multi stakeholder initiatives for national, regional, and municipal governments across North America, Europe, and Asia in the passenger and freight sectors. My experience spans policy analysis, climate mitigation and adaptation strategy, economic appraisal, and integrated mobility planning.
Before joining CPCS, I worked at the International Transport Forum, a think tank for transport policy within the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) system. I’ve also held academic and consulting roles in Canada, the US, the UK, France, and Switzerland.
