Practice Lead – Commercial Rail and Transit

Team member photo

At CPCS, I specialize in commercial rail and transit projects and issues across Canada, the US, and the UK, with an emphasis on major projects in the transport sector.

In over 30 years in the transportation sector, I’ve been working alongside clients in both public and private sectors to help them solve their financial, economic, and transport planning issues. I understand client needs and can develop innovative yet practical solutions that can secure management approval and stakeholder buy-in.

Before joining CPCS, I worked at Steer Group as Head of North America Advisory, where I supported numerous rail and transit projects, including Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s commuter rail in Boston, Canada’s intercity rail upgrade programme (HFR, and now the rail project Alto, a high-speed rail network between Toronto and Québec City), and California’s Sepulveda Transit in Los Angeles.

Prior to that, I’ve held senior positions at Transport for London (TfL) as a sponsor for Crossrail, Overground, Britain’s high-speed railway HS2, and was responsible for the development and approval of TfL’s Business Plan and priorities.
