Patrick has experience conducting economic analysis on transportation projects.
Patrick was the technical lead on Metrolinx’s Business Case Guidance Handbook, which is currently being used for evaluating transportation projects in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. He has developed and written business cases for investments in utilities, new commuter rail corridors, improved transit services and freight business models.
Patrick has also written papers on incentive structures in transport insurance markets, the effects of environmental regulation on foreign direct investment and the relationship between public transit, land use and air quality.
