CPCS, a global management consultancy working across the infrastructure sector, is making a name for itself in originating and assuring the delivery of transformational rail and transit projects—working for both contracting authorities and their suppliers.
Current clients include Metrolinx, one of Canada’s public transportation agencies, and international giant Hitachi Rail, where CPCS has been deploying advisory teams to their rolling stock and rail systems businesses since 2015.
Major projects benefit realization
Merging with UK-based strategic rail advisory firm First Class Partnerships (FCP), has deepened the company’s position in the field of transport infrastructure. FCP has since rebranded as CPCS.
“CPCS is a rare strategic transport advisory firm that has it all under one roof. Most importantly, we’re a proven strategic partner for major projects benefit realization.” – Adrian Lightstone, Global Director, Major Projects Unit, CPCS.
Transportation advisors
CPCS offers internationally recognized depth in transport, notably in major rail and transit projects. From strategic optioneering, outline design, strategic business cases, financing and procurement models, due diligence, and transaction management, CPCS also works for project developers, advising early-stage infrastructure projects from concept through to mobilization of finance.
CPCS draws upon its almost 6 decades of experience delivering multidisciplinary advisory services across the transport and power sectors and enabling successful public-private partnerships internationally.
CPCS bridges technical and management advisory
On one end of the consulting spectrum are large technical architecture, engineering and planning firms. They mostly focus on planning, design, costing, and construction supervision.
At the other end, are large accounting and management consulting firms mostly focused on strategy, finance, transactions, and optimization.
Our place is in the middle where clients and projects need a combination of technical depth and management advice.
