George Kaulbeck, MBA

George is an engineer with a successful track record in delivering management consulting assignments in the transport sector in Canada, Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.

At CPCS, George applies his breadth of railway knowledge to wide-ranging rail projects including feasibility studies, infrastructure and functional designs, condition assessments and rehabilitation plans, upgrading and performance studies and transaction advisory.

In recent years, George has expanded his expertise to other transport sectors including multimodal, urban transit and road transport and has often assumed project leadership roles.

Prior to joining CPCS, George held supervisory and management positions at the Canadian National Railway in operations, infrastructure maintenance and financial and strategic planning. He was responsible for the Engineering department in CN’s Atlantic Zone, where he oversaw track maintenance, structures and signals and communication systems for over 600 miles of mainline track.
